13 Books About Sports for Every Sports Fan To Read This Summer

Looking for a great summer read? Check out these thirteen young adult and middle grade fiction books about sports! Whether you’re a fan of baseball, hockey, or any other sport, you’re sure to find a book you love. So put on your favorite sports jersey and get ready to dive into a good read!

If you weren’t aware by my username, I love hockey. I have been a Philadephia Flyers hockey fan since 2009. I live for hockey season and talking about the NHL. So, I have compiled a list of sports book recommendations you need to read if you’re a sports fan or if you’re just looking to read more sports books! These were sent in from my subscribers on YouTube.

*The majority of these books are Contemporary novels, graphic novels, and comics, with queer, trans, and/or non-binary characters. Most of the recommendations are Young Adult, though there are some recommendations with college-age characters and an Adult book series.
